Yellow Fever Vaccination
&
Official Certificate

A designated Yellow Fever vaccination centre serving Kingston upon Thames. We administer the vaccine and issue the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) — the official document required for country entry.

Who needs this vaccine

Yellow Fever — What you need to know

Yellow fever vaccination is unique among travel vaccines. In some cases it is legally
required for country entry, not merely recommended. Understanding the distinction is
important before you travel.

Entry Requirement

Many countries in Africa and South America require proof of yellow fever vaccination for all arrivals. Without the ICVP, you may be refused entry or detained at the border.

Health Recommendation

Even where not legally required, vaccination is strongly recommended if travelling to areas where yellow fever is endemic. The disease is serious and potentially life-threatening.

The ICVP Certificate

The International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) can only be issued by a designated centre. It has been valid for life since 2016 — a single dose is sufficient for most people.
